The San Pedro festivities in El Espinal, Tolima are declared part of the Nation’s cultural and artistic heritage.

ARTÍCULO 1o. Declárase Patrimonio Cultural y Artístico de la Nación “Las Fiestas del San Pedro”, que se realizan en el municipio de El Espinal, departamento del Tolima.

The national government, through the Ministry of Culture, must support and fund the cultural heritage linked to “Las Fiestas del San Pedro,” and it is authorized to add the needed appropriations to the national budget or use the cofinancing system.

ARTÍCULO 2o. La nación, por conducto del Ministerio de Cultura se asocia a la celebración de los 130 años y contribuirá al fomento, promoción, difusión, conservación, protección, desarrollo y financiación del patrimonio cultural material e inmaterial que se origina alrededor de “Las Fiestas del San Pedro”. PARÁGRAFO ÚNICO. Se autoriza al Gobierno Nacional, para que por conducto del Ministerio de Cultura, incorpore dentro del Presupuesto General de la Nación y/o impulse a través del Sistema Nacional de Cofinanciación las apropiaciones necesarias para el cumplimiento de esta ley. Lo anterior de conformidad con lo dispuesto en los artículos 288, 334, 341 y 345 de la Constitución Política y las competencias previstas en la Ley 715 de 2001. Jurisprudencia Vigencia
