About this statute

This law declares the Carnaval de Riosucio, Caldas, to be Cultural and Artistic Heritage of the Nation and states that it contains other provisions. The Carnival of Riosucio is declared Cultural and Artistic Heritage of the Nation. The Ministry of Culture, or whichever entity replaces it, must contribute to promoting, protecting, preserving, funding, and publicizing the Carnaval de Riosucio. The national government is authorized to make budget allocations of up to 400 million pesos to help finance the Carnaval de Riosucio. This law takes effect on the date it is promulgated.
