About this statute

This is the preamble to Ley 2075 of 2021, which states the law changes the rules for paying councilors’ fees, adds social security measures, and promotes the right to decent work. This article says the law’s purpose is to change how councilors’ fees are calculated, keep their fee income at least at one smmlv, and assign social security contribution payments to fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-category municipalities. All councilors in the country are entitled to have their monthly fees for ordinary and extraordinary sessions paid within the first 5 days of the following month.
