This provision is the preamble identifying Law 2181 of 2021 and stating its purpose: to set rules for logistic chain security, prevent transnational crimes, and other measures. This law states that its purpose is to secure the logistics chain, prevent transnational crimes, and promote OECD best practices for risk evaluation in public or private certifications. This article limits the law’s application to licensed or credentialed private security consultants, advisers, and investigators involved in risk evaluation, analysis, or management for required public or private certifications, and subject to the Superintendence’s inspection, control, and oversight. This article defines “security consulting” by listing the activities it includes. This article defines “security consulting” as preparing various private security studies, diagnostics, inspections, risk evaluations, and risk-management work.
