This preamble states that Law 2300 of 2023 establishes measures to protect consumers’ privacy. This article says the law protects consumers’ privacy and sets rules on the channels, hours, and frequency for contacting them in debt collection. Collection entities and supervised financial entities may contact consumers only through channels the consumer has authorized.
