Statute overview

About this statute

This excerpt identifies Law 2326 of 2023 and its general subject matter. This provision creates and regulates a national, standardized, multi-channel, mass-public search mechanism called “Alerta Rosa” for missing girls, boys, adolescents, young people, and women. This article defines “missing” children, adolescents, youth, and women; local search teams; and who counts as a victim for purposes of the law. This article states that the law is governed by the principles in Laws 1098 of 2006 and 1257 of 2008, plus speed, gender equality, restorative justice, and respect for the human rights of children, adolescents, young people, and women.
