Colombia is declared a strategic territory for bird conservation and birdwatching, through the message “Colombia País de las aves.” Se crea una mesa nacional de turismo de aves dirigida por el Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, que debe reunirse al menos dos veces al año.
