Statute overview

About this statute

The regulation sets rules for municipal dental care, including who must be offered care, who may choose alternative providers, and when municipal approval or subsidies apply. Kommunalbestyrelsen must inform people offered omsorgstandpleje under § 7 about the options they have under the following provision. Kommunen must provide ordinary and special dental care services, finish started treatments, and send an annual report to the regional council by 1 May. Municipal councils must provide and continue certain dental care services, including social dental care for eligible residents, and handle visitation. Section 17 requires municipalities to organize social dental care with attention to accessibility, safety, and flexibility, inform the public about the service, complete started treatments, and may offer additional preventive or reconstructive treatment on a case-by-case basis.
