Statute overview

About this statute

This text introduces the election law for the Folketing and states who has voting rights and who is eligible to stand for election. Section 32 sets rules for calling parliamentary elections, allocating seats, and registering new parties. Voters covered by § 2 who are registered as having left Denmark must, on request, be entered on the electoral roll; the request must be filed with the municipal council on an approved form.
