Statute overview

About this statute

This provision explains that the law implements several EU fund rules and sets basic UCITS scope, definitions, and naming/authorization requirements. In special cases, parts of subsection 1 and subsection 2 may be waived. The Minister for Business Affairs may also set rules requiring set-off, and assets and liabilities are generally measured at fair value unless section 95 provides otherwise. Section 95 requires supplementary reports to be fair and to show their methods, keeps the financial year tied to the calendar year, limits the first period to 18 months, requires the Danish UCITS to align subsidiary financial years where possible, allows figures in DKK or euro, and lets Finanstilsynet set rules for other relevant foreign currencies.
