Statute overview

About this statute

This provision says the waste data system covers waste information reporting, and the reporting rules apply to companies responsible for treating waste where that responsibility is regulated by environmental law or rules made under it. Section 5 sets reporting rules for the Waste Data System (Affaldsdatasystemet), including who must report, deadlines, correction rights, exceptions, and fines for non-compliance. If a business is responsible for the waste but does not physically place it at its own premises, the report must be made as if the waste were collected for the p-number that takes responsibility. Nogle reporting roles must provide supplier master data; role 1, 4, or 5 must also provide supplier producer type, while role 3 must not provide supplier master data. The reporter must provide specified master data about the waste supplier, report waste composition data, and in some cases add extra codes or the recipient’s data depending on the reporting role.
