Statute overview

About this statute

The minister may approve private gymnasial schools and courses, set approval rules, revoke approval for non-compliance or lack of sufficient independence, and must secure pupils’ continued schooling if a school closes. Skolens vedtægt skal fastsættes og offentliggøres, og skolen skal være uafhængig og bruge sine midler kun til skole- eller kursusvirksomhed. Section 5 sets rules for approvals, governance, subsidies, donations, student participation, and accounts for schools and courses. The temporary agency fund and the special fund must keep accounts for the grant appropriations under § 9 and the following text. The minister may supervise schools and courses, require information, issue orders, and manage subsidies; schools must have their accounts audited and the ministry must provide a reporting channel.
