Statute overview

About this statute

This provision sets the framework for university exams and tests, including registration rules, grading, deadlines, special accommodations, and student rights. Complaints about the student start exam must be submitted to the university within two weeks after the assessment is communicated. The university decides the complaint, factual questions cannot be taken to another administrative authority, and legal questions may be brought to the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science. Students may complain to the university about exam-related legal and academic issues, usually within 2 weeks after notice of the assessment. The decision may offer a re-evaluation of a written assignment, a new exam or test, a combination of those remedies in certain oral-defense cases, or a refusal of the complaint. Retlige spørgsmål kan indbringes for Uddannelses- og Forskningsstyrelsen.
