Statute overview

About this statute

This regulation defines narcotic substances and sets rules for their handling, including when special permits are needed and which actors may dispense, import, store, or use them. Export of listed narcotics is allowed only for authorised persons and pharmacies, and usually only with an export certificate from Lægemiddelstyrelsen. This section restricts storage, transit, manufacture, cultivation, recordkeeping, reporting, and inspection of listed narcotic substances, with permits and controls by Lægemiddelstyrelsen. Decisions made by the Danish Medicines Agency under this regulation can be appealed to the Ministry of Health.
