Statute overview

About this statute

The regulation sets food-hygiene rules for primary producers and food businesses, including direct sales of raw milk, eggs, live shellfish, and on-farm slaughter hygiene. Stk. 1 kan fraviges for visse fødevarer, der ikke er mejeriprodukter, hvis de er tilsat rå mælk eller rå mælkebestanddele og derefter varmebehandles efter de angivne regler. Subsection 1 may be waived for certain raw-milk uses if specified heat-treatment, aging, and moisture conditions are met. Section 26 sets food-hygiene rules for colostrum, milk, slaughter assistance, storage, transport, and heat treatment, with some dispensations allowed by Fødevarestyrelsen. Section 26 allows several food-hygiene exceptions and sets related conditions, documentation duties, authorisations, and penalties.
