About this statute

Foreign UCITS marketing units in Denmark must give investor-type details, notify name/address changes, provide Danish-language facilities and documents, and tell Finanstilsynet immediately if redemptions are suspended. If a foreign UCITS stops marketing its units in Denmark, it must notify all Danish investors and the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority within 14 days, and it must pay a fee to the Authority. A board member of a foreign UCITS may be fined for intentional or grossly negligent breaches of specified sections.
