Statute overview

About this statute

This regulation applies to people who have been granted a licence by the Danish Medicines Agency to run one or more pharmacies. Section 15 sets how pharmacy turnover is calculated for fees and subsidies, sets a threshold of 39,232,324 kr., and requires pharmacies above that threshold to pay a 3.6% turnover fee to the Danish Medicines Agency. Pharmacies may receive a turnover subsidy if their annual turnover is below the threshold in subsection 1, but pharmacies listed in Annex 1 do not receive the subsidy. Lægemiddelstyrelsen must set and notify the final fee rate in January for the previous calendar year. Apotekeren must pay fees to Lægemiddelstyrelsen, including a preliminary 1.07% fee for 2022 and a preliminary 5.05% fee for certain reimbursements; Lægemiddelstyrelsen must set and notify the final rate in January.
