Statute overview

About this statute

Reglerne apply when a municipal council or the Appeals Board handles and decides cases under the listed social laws, subject to § 2. When Ankestyrelsen handles and decides certain cases, specified rules from the social security administration act and this regulation apply. Section 13 says several authorities must apply specified welfare-administration rules in listed case types, and it sets residence-municipality rules for certain people working in Denmark. A person without an assigned residence municipality in Denmark is linked to the municipality where the person usually stays; if that cannot be identified, the municipality with the strongest connection applies. For complaints, the deciding authority must reconsider the case within 4 weeks after receiving the complaint and either issue a new decision or send the complaint materials to Ankestyrelsen. Rules for how authorities must handle complaints, reassessments, and forwarding to Ankestyrelsen, including deadlines and notice duties.
