Statute overview

About this statute

This provision sets the framework for the Fund for Plant-Based Foods, including scope, definitions, board duties, application rules, and eligibility limits for grants. Each grant recipient is responsible for its part of the project or activity. If there is co-financing, the application must state that and the amount. No subsidy may be given for costs already covered by other subsidy schemes or other legislation. The board may request documents, and grant recipients must meet timing, reporting, communication, and disclosure conditions; some budget changes can be made without prior approval within set limits. This section sets rules for changing projects or activities, transferring grant commitments, de minimis declarations, and annual reporting. A status report may only be submitted after the project or activity has been running for at least 8 months before 1 July in a given year.
