Statute overview

About this statute

This preamble sets the framework for LAG subsidies for projects in designated rural areas and gives Plan- og Landdistriktsstyrelsen powers to grant subsidies, set application rounds, and allow dispensations. Den lokale aktionsgruppes bestyrelse skal fastsætte kriterier, lave en procedure, offentliggøre den, holde møde om ansøgninger, være beslutningsdygtig og skrive referat. The national plan and rural districts agency may issue guidance, and the local action group board must assess each grant application against the local development strategy using the group’s selection criteria and procedure. The local action group board must choose the applications that best meet its criteria, reject applications not selected for funding recommendation, and forward selected applications to the Danish Agency for Planning and Rural Development. The applied project is selected according to criteria and procedures prepared by the board.
