About this statute

This provision sets the scope and basic rules for certain higher-education programmes, including practice placements, teaching language, and title use. Uddannelsesinstitutioner may place parts of teaching in Greenland or the Faroe Islands in special cases if several conditions are met. National subjects must total at least 60 ECTS points, and at least 45 ECTS points must be completed in the first year. Local subject elements must total at least 5 ECTS and no more than 30 ECTS, with at least 5 ECTS arranged as electives. In multi-track programmes where students choose one track, the national subject elements must include at least 30 ECTS common to all students. A professionsbachelor programme consists of specified study elements, including at least 30 ECTS of practical training and a bachelor project worth 10, 15, or 20 ECTS.
