Statute overview

About this statute

This provision says the planning law implements parts of several EU directives and sets out the law’s purpose and some powers for the minister and duties for municipal councils. Kommunalbestyrelsen skal give notice and wait 2 weeks before certain dispensations, and must grant a dispensation for low-energy new buildings tied to district heating connection rules. Kommunalbestyrelsen has duties to publish and disclose planning material, and may enter certain development agreements with a landowner on request; the minister may set rules and an at-least-8-week comment period.
