Statute overview

About this statute

The regulation sets rules for reporting to the utility-owner register and for how excavation requests must use register information. The fee for inquiries in the Register of Underground Utility Owners is capped at 230,000 kr. per calendar year per requester, and annual fees under 100 kr. are not invoiced. Ledningsejere must give required cable information to Ledningsejerregistret on request, use the web service format, and identify with eID; graveaktører may resend a grave request free of charge within six months and before the digging period ends. The register is used for coordination of excavation works. Utility owners must report excavation damage annually, answer certain information requests, and comply with access and reporting rules; violations can be fined.
