About this statute

This provision assigns the elderly-care inspection function to specific municipal councils, sets rules for how they must carry out inspections and written feedback, allows one extra branch office in special geographic cases, and caps the annual budget at 32.8 million DKK (2025 level). Each ældretilsynsenhed must add any surplus to the municipalities’ objective financing share within 2 years after the year the surplus relates to.
