Statute overview

About this statute

This regulation defines which substances count as narcotics and restricts their import, export, sale, delivery, possession, cultivation, manufacture, and storage, subject to listed exceptions and permits. Export of listed narcotic substances, plants, and drugs is only allowed for authorized persons and institutions, with an export certificate and other required documents. Section 12 sets special rules and exceptions for controlled substances, including permits, records, reports, storage limits, and prohibitions. This section says appeals against the Danish Medicines Agency’s decisions under the regulation may be brought to the Ministry of Interior and Health, which decides after consulting the Faroese government.
