About this statute

This provision sets rules for how the Labour Appeals Board handles complaints, who runs meetings, and some deadlines and decision rules. The Appeals Board must issue written decisions, state whether the decision was unanimous or by majority and the size of any majority, briefly explain any dissent, and publish decisions of principal importance or general interest. Certain members, deputies, meeting participants, and helpers of the Work Environment Appeals Board must not take part in handling a case if they are disqualified under the Administrative Procedure Act.
