Statute overview

About this statute

The Administrative Council of the International Labour Office must submit a report to the Conference whenever it considers necessary, and it must consider whether to place total or partial revision of the Convention on the Conference agenda. If a new revising convention is adopted and enters into force, Members’ ratification of it triggers immediate denunciation of this Convention, and this Convention is no longer open to ratification after that date. The English and French versions of this Convention are equally authentic.
