Statute overview

About this statute

The tariff charge is periodic, arises when the installations can be used or water can be supplied, and is settled annually; annual settlement may be split into partial settlements. Certain tariffs are excluded from this Law when they are established for distributing water flows from intake points on the main works, due to state investments and operating costs. Any early operating deficit caused by lower-than-expected water demand is counted as part of the state investment and treated as an additional expense for tariff purposes.
