Statute overview

About this statute

If changing an amateur radio antenna’s location is advisable, the license holder must request it from the General Directorate of Telecommunications and follow the same procedure as for a first installation. If the holder wants to make an experimental change to antenna characteristics or attached elements without moving the support, they must notify the General Directorate of Telecommunications. Antennas and related elements must be installed so they do not cause nuisance, danger, or damage, and in some rooftop or walkable locations their anchors and other hazardous obstacles must be marked.
