Statute overview

About this statute

Muchas actuaciones y documentos consulares están exentos de tasas, y algunos visados pueden tener exención o reducción. Consular offices must post, where the public can see it, a list of the usual fees for issuing administrative and notarial documents and a copy of the Law. Consular fees are to be placed in the Public Treasury. This provision says the consular fee is a state tax, identifies the acts it taxes, exempts Civil Registry-related acts, and sets when the fee accrues. This article sets various fees and percentages for consular, shipping, commercial, documentation, and notarial acts.
