This article sets the scope of the General Standard for containers holding unpackaged fresh perishable food and similar fresh-wrapped items, and excludes certain packaging and other products with their own rules. This article defines “Recipiente” and “Utilizador” for the purposes of the general rule. The materials used to make these containers must comply with the relevant technical-sanitary rules, and any chemicals used to treat them must be expressly authorized by the Ministry of Sanidad y Consumo.
