Statute overview

About this statute

Species listed in the annex that are hunted or fished are declared marketable throughout Spain. Live specimens of the species mentioned in the preceding article may be traded only if they come from industrial exploitations, and internal trade requires a circulation guide issued by the Community of origin. La importación y exportación de ciertos ejemplares vivos requiere autorización previa del Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación, tramitada a través del ICONA. Dead specimens from the listed species that come from industrial exploitations may be marketed at any time of year if they are marked or sealed with a reference showing the exploitation and the date of origin. Exporting dead specimens or trophies from hunting and fishing species requires authorization from the Ministry, and the applicant must prove they were lawfully obtained.
