Statute overview

About this statute

Public works financed by Murcia or its autonomous bodies must reserve set budget amounts for heritage or artistic purposes, with specific rules for larger projects and exceptions for certain project types. The public body responsible for the public works must send the budget-modification file to the Finance Department within one month after the works budget is approved, if it is required by budget limits or if it chooses to do so. Certain dependent regional bodies that cannot make a credit transfer must pay 1% into the regional public treasury the month after the investment budget is approved, and they must notify the Culture, Education and Tourism Department of the budget approval and payment.
