Statute overview

About this statute

The Government Council or designated regulatory body may conduct confidential preliminary actions before a sanctions case starts, must notify the start to the interested party where appropriate, can review complaints about noncompliance, and may require public registries to provide information and cooperation. The sanctioning procedure follows Decree 45/1995, as modified by the specific rules that arise from this Law. Articles 12 to 13 are repealed. The staff of the registers must keep confidential the data and information they learn through their work.
