This article sets minimum rules for workplace safety and health signage, and excludes some signage categories from the decree’s scope. This article defines different kinds of workplace safety and health signs and related signals. El empresario debe adoptar las medidas necesarias para que en los lugares de trabajo haya señalización de seguridad y salud conforme a los anexos I a VII, cuando resulte necesario según los criterios del artículo siguiente. Safety and health signage must be used when risk analysis shows it is needed to warn, alert, help locate protection or emergency equipment, or guide workers in dangerous maneuvers. The employer must inform workers and their representatives about safety and health signage measures, and provide suitable training on that signage.
