Statute overview

About this statute

If a sports entity in Cantabria is dissolved, its net assets must be used for sports purposes after liquidation, in line with its bylaws. Cantabrian sports entities may not demand or pay retention, training, or other economic compensation for athletes under 16; the Cantabrian sports administration must take preventive measures to promote athletes’ medical and health care. A plan for regional sports medicine must be prepared as a tool for preventive medical control, monitoring, guidance, and health oversight of athletes.
