Statute overview

About this statute

Certain workers covered by Article 7, and accompanying family members in some cases, are entitled to healthcare benefits while working in the other Party’s territory. If in-kind healthcare benefits cannot be provided in Andorra for covered insured persons, pensioners, or family members for whom Spain is the competent state, the Spanish Social Security health network must provide them and the competent institution must pay the cost directly. Cross-border workers and their family members can receive health-care benefits under the residence-country or competent institution rules set out here.
