Statute overview

About this statute

The local authority must send the file to the Cantabrian trade department’s General Directorate and attach the necessary environmental, urban-planning, and other reports. That Directorate may ask the competition authority for an opinion if it sees circumstances that could affect competition between businesses. Prohibits certain entities and entrepreneurs from retail sales and requires cooperative public sales to be kept separate from member transactions. Prohibits selling to the public at a loss, with limited exceptions and related invoicing rules.
