Statute overview

About this statute

This article classifies forests as public or private based on ownership, and says communal forests in common ownership are a special type of private forest. Artículo 12 bis aparece como suprimido. This article classifies certain public forests as public-domain forests and defines patrimonial forests as publicly owned forests that are not public-domain forests. Regional governments may declare certain public forests to be of public utility and add them to the Public Utility Forest Catalogue if they meet the listed conditions.
