Statute overview

About this statute

This provision says the Real Decreto applies to certain food-contact materials and objects containing or made with specified substances, and excludes some large storage containers and connected pipes with high-performance coatings. NOGE is not authorized nationally; for certain goods made and authorized in other EU Member States, it must be non-detectable, with a detection limit of 0.2 mg/6 dm2, and that limit must be checked with a validated analytical method if available. This decree sets migration limits and use deadlines for BADGE, BFDGE, and NOGE in food-contact materials.
