Statute overview

About this statute

The Special Accounts Commission must be made up of members from all political groups in the County Council and must report the comarca’s annual accounts before the County Council approves them. The functioning regime and procedure for adopting agreements of comarcal bodies is set by local government legislation. This article lists the comarca’s governing bodies and lets the Comarca Council regulate additional bodies and administrative structure by absolute-majority approval of the organic regulation. The Comarca del Jiloca is governed and administered by the Comarcal Council, made up of the President and the councillors. The competent electoral board must call the relevant councillors, proclaim the elected members and substitutes, issue credentials, and publish the council’s composition. Parties and groups may not name more than one-third of their allotted members from the same municipality, except when needed to fill all seats.
