Statute overview

About this statute

Certain activities and installations must be subject to environmental authorization, and the authorization must cover linked activities at the same site. Where multiple holders operate there, the authorization must set out each holder’s responsibility, which is joint unless they agree otherwise. The environmental authorization is meant to set environmental conditions, integrate relevant permits and assessments into one administrative act, and come before certain other authorizations or licenses when applicable. After the documentation is completed, the public information procedure must be opened by publishing a notice in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León and it lasts 30 days.
