Statute overview

About this statute

The promoting administration must review, on its own initiative, certain strategic environmental assessment plans or programmes that were approved or adopted without following the procedure set by this law. This article limits sanctioning power to certain private strategic environmental assessment plans and treats certain non-compliant works or projects as an infringement. Some non-Annex I projects must undergo environmental impact assessment when cumulative effects push them over lower thresholds or may affect the same environment.
