Statute overview

About this statute

The infrastructure manager must have a security authorization, comply with its conditions at all times, and provide required documents. The rail authority must notify the European Railway Agency within one month of authorization events. The security authorization application must be accompanied by documentation showing that ADIF has a safety management system and meets the required safety conditions; the rail authority may also ask for more documents or information. If the infrastructure administrator no longer meets the security authorization conditions, it must fix the problem within four months of notification; otherwise the revocation process starts.
