About this statute

Certain financial entities must file a single annual declaration and send it to the relevant Treasury delegation within the first calendar quarter. The declaration must be split into three parts: cash deposits and current accounts, securities, and movable goods. La entidad debe hacer comprobaciones y enviar avisos al titular antes de declarar abandonados ciertos saldos, depósitos o bienes, salvo que el aviso cueste más que los fondos. La autoridad competente debe resolver sobre los saldos, depósitos o bienes muebles y notificar la resolución a la entidad declarante. La Dirección General del Patrimonio del Estado debe transferir los títulos de Deuda del Estado a la Dirección General del Tesoro y Política Financiera, que los cancelará. También puede vender o destruir valores e instrumentos financieros bajo ciertas condiciones.
