Statute overview

About this statute

Regulates electronic deregistration of end-of-life vehicles through authorized treatment centers, with document requirements, electronic processing, record retention, and a one-year transition from paper filing. Some definitive vehicle deregistrations must be handled at the local traffic office, and some may also be filed at an authorised treatment centre, depending on the type of deregistration. Este precepto deroga la Orden INT/249/2004. This Order enters into force the day after its publication in the Official State Gazette. Los centros autorizados de tratamiento may use the paper filing system for deregistrations for up to one year after this Order starts, and after that they may use only the telematic deregistration system.
