Statute overview

About this statute

Cult premises are subject to the general urban-planning licence regime, and municipalities must require urban licences for listed works and uses. Los centros de culto must have the sectoral authorizations required for other specific activities carried out there, except for conferences, concerts, choir singing, and leisure or free-time activities. The interested person must file the two listed licenses in one application, with the technical documents. If the licensing office needs certain prior certificates, reports, or other documents from the same local authority, it must request them directly and tell the interested person.
