Statute overview

About this statute

Retail commercial premises are treated as large commercial establishments if they are individual or collective stores, sell any kind of goods at retail, and have at least 2,500 square meters of usable display-and-sales area. This article defines what counts as usable sales/display area for commercial premises and lists spaces that are excluded from the calculation. A change in ownership of a large commercial establishment must be notified to the competent commerce authority within 15 days of the transfer.
