Statute overview

About this statute

This article lets a vehicle owner or, if applicable, a long-term lessee report the usual driver to the traffic vehicle register, and requires long-term lease vehicle owners to report lessee data to that register. The required data communications must be made online through the DGT website. A private individual vehicle owner or long-term lessee may instead send a written communication to the DGT and present it at the listed registers. This order sets the rules for notifying the vehicle registry about a habitual driver or a long-term lessee.
