Statute overview

About this statute

La Administración portuaria has authority over managing the Generalitat’s public port domain. The port authority must take and coordinate preventive and protective measures to ensure port activity, and port users/owners must keep vessels, vehicles, goods, and other movable property safe and well preserved. The port authority may take ownership of abandoned vessels, vehicles, and other goods in the port after the required declaration, and may then sell them at public auction unless scrapping is appropriate.
